This unit does a fair job in my mind. I still need to modulate at times for commercials and sometimes during a show or moveie it will become louder on it's own. Not sure if they've got this perfected yet.

Summary: "Couldn't be happier"

We recently purchased a bose system for our TV and noticed right away that the commercials were VERY loud. Not all of them, but when they were loud, it was startling. We would have the remote close by to mute the commercials, and it was a real pain in the neck.
My brother found this item on the internet, and we figured we didn't have much to loose. Ordered and hooked up, instant difference!

It is WONDERFUL. Works just as described. We couldn't be happier. And it improved the quality of the picture on top of putting a stop to the LOUD commercials.

ORDERED THE MYVOLUME, CAME QUICKLY AND WORKED AS PROMISED. SOON I HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT SHUTTING OFF, CALLED TECH SUPPORT AND THEY WERE SUPER. THEY SENT ME ANOTHER ONE QUICKLY WITH PREPAID POSTAGE, PUT THE FIRST ONE IN THE BOX DROPPED OFF AT POST WITH R/A LABEL. THE NEW ONE WORKS AS PROMISED AND DOES VERY GOOD AT CONTROLLING VOLUME, AS ADVERTISED. SUPER HAPPY WITH THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE.........MIKE W

ZERO stars period "My Volume" did the opposite of what it claimed to do. It made the sound peaks worse by a factor of 3-4 to 1. I am going to throw it in the garbage and pretend it never happened. live and learn.....
